ಚತುರ್ಮುಖ ಬಸದಿ ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ 16 ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಜೈನ ದೇವಾಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಭತ್ತದ ಗದ್ದೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಕಳ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಒಂದು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಚೇರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸಭಾ ಗುರುದ್ವಾರ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಿಖ್ ಧರ್ಮಪೀಠವಾಗಿದೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸಭಾ ಗುರುದ್ವಾರವು ಅಲಸೂರು ಸರೋವರದ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸಭಾ ಗುರುದ್ವಾರವನ್ನು 1943 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊದಲ ಮಹಡಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ 1975 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ನೌಕಾ ಸೇನೆಯ ಐಎನ್ಎಸ್ ಚಾಪಲ್ 1971 ರ ಇಂಡೋ-ಪಾಕ್ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ನೌಕಾಪಡೆಯ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಯುದ್ಧನೌಕೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಕರಾಚಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ದಾಳಿಯ ಮುಂದಾಳತ್ವ ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು.
